Important VAT Update: 15.5% Effective 1 May 2025

In accordance with the new South African VAT legislation, PropWorx will implement the updated VAT rate of 15.5% effective from 1 May 2025.

What this means for you:

  • Automatic Update: All existing fees already created in the system will automatically be updated to reflect the new 15.5% VAT rate as of 1 May 2025.
  • Standard Rate: Any new fees created from 1 May will automatically apply the 15.5% VAT rate as the default.
  • Fee Reversals: Any reversals of transactions originally charged at 15% will remain at 15% to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • No Action Required: These changes will be handled by the system, and no manual updates are needed on your part.
