Statements & Invoice Bank Details

Different bank accounts can be linked to different properties. Make sure the bank details are entered as trust cashbooks under the account settings.

Statement bank details can be linked on three different levels:
  1. Default Company Bank Details:  All properties will use the default bank details from the company settings unless a specific property has been updated with different bank details. If no bank details are linked to the property or complex/building, the default company details will be automatically assigned.
  2. Complex/Building: Bank details linked to a complex or building will apply to all properties within that complex or building. Properties within the complex or building cannot have different bank details from those assigned to the complex or building.
  3. Property: Bank details linked to a property will apply to all associated files unless the property is part of a complex or building with its own bank details, in which case the complex/building bank details will take precedence.

Default Company Details

1. Click on Settings on the Main Menu.



2. Click on Company



3. Click on Edit button to load and maintain company settings



4. Select the Cashbook (aka bank account) form the drop-down list. Only trust cashbooks loaded under the cashbook management screen will appear as options in the drop-down menu.



5. Click on Save Changes



6. All properties and their associated files will now be linked to selected bank details unless overridden at the complex/building or property level.



Complex / Building Bank Details

1. Click on Admin on the Main Menu. 



2. Click on Properties


3. Click on Complex/Building


4. Complex/Building Report will open.
5. Click on the Complex Name to view complex/building profile.



6. Selected Complex/Building will open.
7. Click on Edit to view complex/building profile.



8. Scroll down to Complex/Building Bank Details.

9. Select the Cashbook (aka bank account) form the drop-down list. Only trust cashbooks loaded under the cashbook management screen will appear as options in the drop-down menu.




10. Accept prompt to proceed with selection. 



11. Click Save to save changes.



12. All properties and their associated files related to the Complex/Building will now be linked to these bank details.



Property Bank Details

The bank details can also be added on the property tab of the associated file. 

1. Click on Admin on the Main Menu. 



2. Click on Properties


3. Click on All Properties


4. All Properties Report will open.
5. Click on the Property Address to view property profile.



6. Selected property will open.
7. Under the Property Tab, click on Edit to view complex/building profile.



8. Scroll down to Property Bank Details.

9. Select the Cashbook (aka bank account) form the drop-down list. Only trust cashbooks loaded under the cashbook management screen will appear as options in the drop-down menu.



10. Accept prompt to proceed with selection. 



11. Click Save Changes to save changes.



12. All files associated with the property will now be linked to these bank details.
