Manage Vacating Tenants & Report

Additional Processes for vacating tenants (optional):
  1. Add Provision for the Deposit: To ensure that the deposit is not paid out but held back until the deposit needs to be refunded. 
  2. Add Exit Inspection record: This will create a reminder for the Inspection.
  3. Add Vacate Notice Letter (under documents on the lease tab): To ensure that there is a written record of the notice.

 Manage Vacate Notice

1. Click Admin on the Main Menu. 



2. Click on Customer Files.



3. Select Rental on the menu heading.


4. Click on the File Name to open the file. 



5. Customer File will open. Click on Lease on the file tab ribbon bar. 



6. Lease screen will open. 
7. Scroll to Vacating Details section. 
8. To edit a lease details, click on Edit button.



9. To Enable the Vacate Notice:
  1. Tick Vacate Required
  2. Fill in Notice Received date (optional) and Vacating Date
  3. Fill in Vacate Notes (optional)


10. To confirm changes, click Save Changes button.


11. Vacate Notice will appear on the following screens:

  1. Dashboard




Vacating Tenant Report
1. Click Admin on the Main Menu.



2. Click Dashboards.



3. Dashboard screen will open. 

4. Click on Leases Vacating button.



5. Leases Vacating report will open.
6. Filter by existing filter category buttons to quickly generate reports. Click on a Category button will auto-filter the table report.



7. To view a Vacate Record from the Report, click on the File Name to open the record.
