Manage Lock Periods

1. Click Settings on the Main Menu.



2. Click Accounting Settings



3. Click Edit button to load and maintain company settings


4. Scroll to Lock Period section and click Edit Lock Settings



5. Enable Lock toggle



6. Add Lock Period Dates. There are five (5) lock options: 
  1. Transactions – when enabled, no transactions can be imported, posted or deleted off the cashbooks before lock date. 
  2. Fees– when enabled, no fees can be debited before lock date. Debited fees that appear on the Fee Reversal report will still be able to be revered before lock date. 
  3. Journals – when enabled, no journals can be posted or deleted off the cashbooks before lock date. 
  4. Transfers– when enabled, no trust to business transfer can be processed before lock date. 
  5. Tenant Statements– when enabled, no tenant charges can be edited or processed to the tenant statement before lock date. Posted charges that appear on the tenant statement will still be able to be edited and deleted. 


7. Click Save Changes. Edit lock period on a regular basis or when required. 



8. Lock Period will be set.
