USERS: Adding New User


Before creating a user, please ensure that the contact has the correct email address (the email address that will be used to log in) before the user is created. To edit the email address of an existing contact, first go to ADMIN --> CONTACTS, search and select the contact and edit the email address. 

Multiple Accounts/Databases: If the user will be logging in to more than one database, and would like to easily swop between databases, the user needs to use the same email address across the accounts/databases. If they do not, then they will have to log off and log in between databases using their respective user log in email addresses. 

1. Click on Settings --> Users & Controls --> Users



2. Click on CREATE NEW USER



3. You can now search for the contact or create a new contact should it not be in your list.

4. SELECT the USER and click on ASSIGN USER




5. The contact details for the user will now open. You can fill in any other missing information and select the USER TYPE, the USER GROUP and a temporary password. 

Please note that you need to have available licences for the user type you are selecting. If the user group you want is not yet created, you can create a user group first and then add the user. You can also change user types and user groups at any point later if that is required. 




6. Now that the user has been created, the user can log in to PropWorx. Once on the website, they can type in the user name (email address used) and click on FORGOT PASSWORD to reset to a new password (or use the temp password provided and later change it - but this is not recommended for security reasons).
