Accounting Files & Report

An accounting file (aka accounting ledger) is an account or record used to store bookkeeping entries for balance-sheet and income-statement transactions. On PropWorx, users are able to create general ledgers (for trust and business entries) and deposit ledgers (deposit trust entries).

1. Click Accounting on the Main Menu.



2. Click Accounting Files.



3. Accounting Files report will open.



Create New Accounting File

  1. Click on Add Accounting File button. New Accounting file screen will open. Fill in the File Name (mandatory), File Description (mandatory) and choose the File type (mandatory) from the File Type drop-down. Click OK to create. 

Example: 
  1. User can create an accounting file for salary transactions. These transactions are expenses to the business. The File type will be Expenditure. 



Rename Accounting File

1. Tick the Accounting File and click Manage File.



2.  Make required changes to File Name or Description or File Type and click OK.



Deactivate (Archive) Accounting File

1. Tick the Accounting File and click Manage File.



2.  Click Archive File and click OK.



Reopen an Archived Accounting File

1. Under Inactive Files, tick the Accounting File and click Manage File.



2. Click on Reopen File and click save.



Report Filters

Filter By File Status

Select between Active, Inactive or All Files from the Status drop-down



Export Reports

To export the report, click on Export Button and select between PDF & Excel.


Search Text

To search for data within the report, type in the search field and click on the search icon ().
